Meet the Team

Candace Marston

"Dive Momma" is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor. Why do they call her "Dive Momma?" 'Cause training with her is as safe as bein' in yo' momma's arms!

Steve Ellstorm

"The Safe One" is a PADI Instructor and SSI Assistant Instructor who's also known as "Radar" for turning up to the dive site with everything,
and I mean EVERYTHING, anyone could possibly need for camping on dive weekends. He's a rolling MASH unit of efficiency, both underwater and above.

Jim Graham

"Zipper" is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, an EFR first aid Instructor and an SSI Open Water Instructor. A real business guy in real life,
he's counting his pennies 'till he can retire to a dive operation somewhere where he won't need winter radials.
Why "Zipper?" Well, why don't you offer to do up his drysuit some time just before a dive?

Kylie Evans

Now retired from rugby, Kylie taught diving in Manzanillo, Mexico for two seasons before she discovered that Canada has better wrecks.
Shy and retiring, Kylie admits she's a wonderful person. C'mon down and find out!

Dana Bradshaw

"Doctor Dana" is a ParaMedic in real life and the Medical Training Officer for Brampton Fire & Emergency Services. A PADI Instructor, Doc's never without his first aid kit full of band aids and coffee (no sugar, please)!

Alan Davies

A PADI DiveMaster and Assistant Instructor, Alan's a British trained Master Carpenter (Carpenter to the Queen, you know, old chap!) and specializes in
guiding divers around Ontario's proliferation of 100 year old sunken wood wrecks.

Pat Hutchison

"Gabby Pat" is a PADI DiveMaster and an SSI Assistant Instructor. He can talk to you, in depth, about anything you care to bring up and his knowledge about almost all things is truly impressive ... as is his ability to keep divers happy on-site.

Ian Hollidge

"DB" Ian is so friendly, he'd talk to Jack the Ripper. Known for his geniality, Ian can make anyone relax on-site. He's an experienced SSI and PADI DiveMaster, an SSI Assistant Instructor, an acting Captain in the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary, and one of the absolute best Rescue scenario "victims" we've ever resuscitated... over 'n over 'n over...

Pat Gilbert

Pat's a PADI DiveMaster and one of the leading Canadian experts of the fruit Musa acuminatain (bananas)... long story... plus, like a banana, he's full of energy on the dive site.

Brian Wake

Brian's a PADI Course Director (Instructor-Trainer) specializing in the gentle touch who successfully preps our PADI Instructor candidates for their Instructor Examinations. He says he's scared of the dark, but his licence plate says "Dive Captain of the World."

Keith Ward

Keith was certified on his 50th birthday in 2003 - what he said at the time was a less expensive mid-life crisis response than buying a convertible. He has been diving regularly ever since, with about 400 dives all over the globe. While he thinks the Great Barrier Reef was the best overall diving he has done, he returns to the Great Lakes again and again for the quality of the wreck diving. He continues to train, and became Dive Master in 2010. Keith says it is fun and rewarding to see people get excited in the Discover Scuba classes he conducts.
