First Aid
At Happy Divers Den, we believe EVERYONE should be first aid trained, and we offer a full range of first aid courses... all of which are available to the general public without pre-requisite. This course is now compliant and recognized by the Canadian Government.
Whether you have a pool in your backyard, a cottage at a lake, active children, a friend or relative who depends on oxygen, or if you just need first aid training or updating, consider our courses for increased personal and family safety.
This emergency first aid course is an easily absorbed, video-based, Instructor-supervised course. Run in just one day, it provides the opportunity for lots of hands-on practice and confidence-building.
You'll learn the Primary and Secondary skills of patient care while following the latest consensus medical guidelines, including:
- SETUP and Barriers
- Rescue Breathing
- One Rescuer CPR
- Choking Management
- Control of Bleeding
- Shock Management
- Illness Assessment
- Injury Assessment
As you can see, this is a course our divers don't have much fun with, so we only charge an All-Inclusive Course Cost of $90.00 per person + applicable taxes
